Emmanuel Emenike teamed up with the rest of the Olympiacos squad for pre-season training in Belgium on Saturday.
Emenike has signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional year with ‘The Reds’ after a difficult time at Turkish giants Fenerbache.
Olympiacos announced the transfer of the 30-year-old Nigeria striker on Wednesday and he and another new signing, Mehdi Karsela, joined up with the squad, who left for Genk, Belgium, on Wednesday.
A squad of 24 players flew out to Belgium Wednesday morning and they will train there till July 16 during which they will play pre-season friendlies against Lokeren and Dutch club AZ Alkmaar.
‘The Reds’ are also preparing for the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League.
